Love's Cute spot is & was my very first site ever. I had a site before, but it was a personal page about me, family and friends.. No, it was not a piczo site.. It was more like a blog, although unlike blogs, it didn't require any HTML knowledge whatsoever since it was more of like a pagebuilder.
I didn't know about Doll sites then, but as I started getting more into "blogging".. i started to see sites that were "doll sites" and was just amazed.
The first few sites I've seen were CarrielynnesWorld.com, (which happens to be my sister site now), DollieCrave.com, Glitter Swirl (which is also now my sister site), and PixelBee.net (which is now a .com, and is my host)..
These sites completely blew me away. I had NO HTML knowledge at all at that time, and i was CLUELESS with everything they seemed to talk about in their sites. LOL. Oh, but i loved their graphics!
Finally, i couldn't help it, i made a site on freewebs, and it was Love's Cute Spot. YES, I MADE A SITE AND WENT ON TO SIGN UP AS "ADVANCED" EVEN THOUGH I HAD NO HTML KNOWLEDGE! I was EXTREMELY ambitious! I was aware that I was clueless, but I am not a moron, and I knew I was going to learn and fast. I downloaded one of AngelKizz.net's free layouts. Then, i did not know what to do after that!!!! LOL! I had it saved in my computer, but i had no idea how to "use" it!!! (at that time i didn't even know I how to extract a .zip file). So anyway, I noticed the "upload file" button that was on my control panel of my freewebs site. So I thought, maybe upload the downloaded layout there? so that is what I did, I uploaded the .zip file. Then, nothing happened! So i clicked on the .zip file (and luckily for me) it unzipped itself! LOL!Yay! And when I went to my "index.html" page, I could already see the layout, etc..
And that is how I started. I never used that free layout though, I made my own and coded it myself. YES oh YES, i learned how to code layouts very fast! Sometimes, I still don't get how people find it hard to code layouts -_- I mean, no one taught me, but it wasn't *that* hard* to learn. I never even knew of Lissa Explains! I only knew all these HTML help sites AFTER I learned!!
So anyway, i had www.freewebs.com/lovescutespot all done! I made tons of pages and graphics (looking back, i now see them as crap LOL), and i had sooo many "Site Awards" which I gathered from lots of doll sites which were given away as "Free Awards" LOL.. yeah, i was pretty pathetic..
I only had paint and animation shop as programs used for graphic making, but i LOVED web-designing! I then applied for a short url and my site then became www.lovescutespot.2truth.com.
But I never was contented. I always wanted more, more, more.. I felt very deprived with not having PSP. Even though I defied lots of things that others say one could only make in PSP, I made using only Animation shop and paint. Although making them was 90 times harder. and they didn't always turn out as good.
I really wanted PSP, but everytime I tried to download the program, it would crash my computer, and cause me to reformat.. It brought tons of viruses that I just had no choice but to let it go.
Well, anyway, I don't exactly remember when it was, but I think it was around April that I got hosted by Tyler of Guilt-Trip.com. I applied to thousands of hosting websites, and got accepted by only 2! but boy was I freaking excited! my site then became www.cutespot.guilt-trip.com.

I was proud to get hosted, it was a huge step for me. BUT, all my pages were still hosted on freewebs! LOL.. I was too lazy to transfer them all! (i had made quite a lot of pages by then already)..
Well anyway, one day, I met a stealer/hater who stole my graphics, and flamed me aLL the time. It's a LOOOOOOOONG story so I'll just make it REALLY short. So I went and registered on Jail for Stealers forum to report her. There I met a LOT of my friends now, and then eventually.. I was looking around J4S and clicked the link to Tab's site.. I've been there tons before, but this time was different.. This time, i clicked the link to her Forum, PBF..
I introduced myself, and immediately got addicted! I was the most addicted of addicts that ever were addicted on PBF! LOL yeah, it was baaad. I immediately became friends with everyone, and we all always had a blast!
Tab was such a cool person, and it was just so easy to get along with everyone there. Eventually, Tab offered to host me! Like, OMGGGGZZ! LOL
I completely remember the conversation. I was NOT expecting her to say that. Well, anyway, that very same minute, Tab made my FTP account, and immediately, I transferred my site and voila! http://cutespot.pixelbee.net!

I was so proud and happy to be a part of the Pixelbee Family. It was sweeter than sweet, e-life couldn't get any better! LOL The only thing that was bugging me was my lack of PSP :( I tried to tell myself "you don't need PSP to make good graphics!" but updating and making graphics was hard labour on my part! >_< I grew lazy, and I hated the fact that some people could just whip up a *bordered* word in just one second using PSP, while I spent 10 minutes on a single bordered word, to make it look correct, and neat, only using MS word, paint and animation shop. Now that I look back, I wonder how i ever made all those graphics i did. LOL
So anyway, on June 2005, one day, Tab held a contest at PBF that whoever will win it, will win a DOMAIN and free hosting for a year! I was immediately excited and knew I just had to join. I needed 10 people to be on my team, and it was a blast getting my team together! LOL We were the noisiest biggest jerks to ever walk the planet! LOL
Team members were Lana, Carrie, Maz, Holly, Iman, Priya, Bonnie, Shannon, Natty & Kira.
I don't know how to say this without sounding like such an airhead, but, we were unbeatable. HEH! So, we won :)

I won the domain! and so I gave Tab what Domain name I wanted and I started moving my stuff. BUT, I closed my site temporarily. I didn't want to open with just my old layout, i wanted a *bang*! LOL
Anyway, while i was working on a new layout, on a certain thread about PSP 8, Bonnie (my sister site) gave me another link which she said was a site where i could download PSP 8. It wasn't the Jasc site. She said, the Jasc site didn't work for her, so she found that link and the dowload process went smoothly, and she told me to try it coz maybe it'd work for me too! So I did, and GUESS what?!! I FINALLY downloaded PSP and got it to work!!!
I was sooo excited! I couldn't believe my luck! So i immediately started to work on a new layout (using PSP) for the openning of my Domain! Yehey! LOL so on July 18th, I offically openned Love's Cute spot the Domain! I kept some of my old stuff (paint and animation shop graphics) such as the pink glitter names, and some I threw away. I then started to make lots of graphics using PSP, and yes, my theory was right, it's 90 times easier to make bordered words in PSP! LOL!!!!
Now, I would be hypocrital if i were to say that I am not proud of my site. As a matter of fact, I very much am. I make 4,000 unique hits daily, and that's good for me already... I work on my site, with a passion. I don't think I would be here now, if I wasn't that motivated and discontented in the past. Along the way, I've met my sister sites and my online bestfriends... and I can never see myself giving up on Cute spot. :)
